Definition of Super Freek: a person who is heavily
into geeky and freaky things of pop culture, such as science fiction, fantasy,
video games, computer technology, animation, comic books, off-the-wall music, movies,
TV, etc., etc. The break-down of the definition: Super, verb: referring to anything fantastic or with extraordinary powers,
such as superheroes; Freek, noun: a
person who is both a geek and freak. And the definition of freak as used at this blog: a very “weird” person, regardless of
morals or sanity, who often dresses or speaks off-beat, or, as is often the
case, both.
Here at The Super
Freek blog, you’ll find news, reviews, previews and other types of articles about
the geeky and freaky in pop culture. Both the new and the vintage
in nerd culture are covered. The only thing of pop culture not covered too much here is
prose fiction. I have a separate blog for that called
A Far Out Fantastic Site.
If you are into reading or
writing speculative fiction, I strongly encourage you to visit it.
Now let’s freek out!
